Personal Training

Personal Training is instruction that incorporates goal setting and health education into challenging workouts specifically designed with your needs in mind.  Your trainer will be there to instruct you on proper technique on a variety of exercises and at the same time, motivate you to achieve your health and fitness goals.

Personal Training- Personalized exercise prescription designed exclusively for you.

Funtional Training- Learn to incorporate tools such as BOSU, medicine balls, bands and balance discs into your routine.

Sports-Specific Training- Increase performance by focusing on the demands unique to your sport.

Balance and Core Training-Improve posture and coordination while reducing risk of injury by focused training of the abdominal and lower back muscles.

Pre- and Post-Natal Training- Everything you need to know to stay fit before and after pregnancy.

Sugar Free and Fit- Training progam developed for those pre-disposed or diagnosed with diabetes.

Nutrition Coaching- Nutritional guidance for a healthier you.

Individual 1-hour Sessions or Packaged Sessions

1-Session:$45.00; $65.00 (non-member)

5-Sessions:$179.00; $255.00 (non-member)

10-Sessions:$349.oo;$389.00 (non-member)

Semi-Private Personal Training

Semi-private training makes fitness affordable and fun, while providing accountability, encouragement, education, and social support.  Sessions may be purchased for two-four participants at one time. These sessions are best suited when the participants in the group are of equal physical fitness with similar fitness goals. Youth Group Personal Training

YGPT is a certified trainer-led program designed to coach 10 to 12 year olds on how to safely and effectively use a variety of training tools and equipment in a fun, safe environment.  Ladders, BOSU® balls, hurdles, and bands, OH MY! Classes limited to 6 people.

Group Personal Training

GPT is a certified trainer-led program designed to coach participants through a range of efficient workouts.  Learn to effectively use a variety of training tools including the BOSU ® ball, stability ball, medicine ball, dumbbells and bands to build muscle, increase metabolism, burn fat and maximize results! Classes limited to 6 people.

AOA Group Personal TrainingGroup Personal Training is an investment in YOUR Personal Health. The staff at the Y wants to help you get the most out of your exercise experience. You will increase lean muscle mass and bone density, while improving balance to reduce the risk of falls. A variety of training tools will be used to make this class challenging and fun. Classes are limited to 4-6 people. So, call some friends and get started in your investment to improve YOUR Personal Health.

NEW! Golf Fitness Training

Increase playing ability and reduce potentioal for injury.  Golfers are always working to improve their swing, but too often forget about improving their fitness.  The best golfers realize the importance of golf fitenss as a fundamental component of their game.  Increase and improve your endurance, hip speed, strength, balance, flexibility, and drive.

Burdenko Water and Sports Institute Training

Individualized land based training using the Burdenko Water and Sports Institute techniques.  You will get a specialized exercise program using unique equipment (kettle bells, stretch cords, long stick and stretch belt) to strengthen the core, gain flexibility and improve overall condition.  The instructors, Peter Cornetta and Gaye Robinson are certified with the Burdenko Water and Sports Institute.
